Remove your ring when doing household jobs/manual work. Beautiful rings are not made for working with! If your ring does take a knock return it to us immediately to check the settings. If your diamonds are even slightly loose you run the risk of loosing them.

All jewellery should be kept in a box if not being worn. Don't let your ring come into contact with other jewellery, as this may scratch the metal.

Remove your ring when applying hand cream. Soaps and creams tend to build up beneath the settings giving the stone a dull look.

To clean your ring at home put it in a basin with some warm water and washing up liquid. Use a soft toothbrush to clean in behind the settings. Just remember to put a plug in the drainhole before starting!

You bring your car for a service and your clothes to the dry cleaners, rings are no different! Return your ring to us every six months to a year to be polished and to have your settings checked.

It is normal for jewellery to scratch over time. White gold rings will loose their rhodium plating and matt finish rings will begin to look polished. Return your ring to us to be refinished every couple of years and it will come back looking as good as new!

We would strongly recommend that you return your rings to us for any repairs that may be needed. We return each piece to the designer that made it, ensuring that the ring is well looked after by someone who knows it well! Our designers will not guarantee a ring's quality once it has been worked on by another goldsmith.

Make sure that your ring is the correct size. Our fingers change over time so a ring that once fit you may become too big or too small. Bring your ring back to us to be resized rather than running the risk of losing it. We will return it to its original designer and it will receive a good polishing while there as well!

Insure your ring. While we hope that nothing ever happens to your ring it is better to be safe than sorry. Simply add your ring as a separately listed item on your home insurance. We provide a valuation with every ring purchased, if you need a new one or an updated one, please don't hesitate to contact us.
