DA CAPO

Lee and Sé met while studying jewellery making on the Crafts Council of Ireland goldsmithing course in the mid 1990s. Subsequently they both worked in Holland and Germany before returning to Ireland, where they opened Da Capo in 2000. Da Capo means 'from the beginning' and reflects their design philosophy that each piece begins with a blank piece of paper and a specific customer in mind.

In 2008, after eight years of creating bespoke jewellery, they launched their first Ready to Wear collection for DESIGNYARD. The pieces are based on examining the classic claw-set solitaire engagement rings and giving them subtle treatment or detail to lift them out of the ordinary.
