AYELET LALOR

 Growing up in West Cork Ayelet Lalor was encouraged by her father to draw, sculpt and paint. She Later attended Grennan Mills Craft School in Kilkenny before studying at the National College of Art and Design Dublin.  She graduated in 1996 with an honours degree in craft, specialising in ceramics. 

Her Ladies or Divas all have their own distinct personalities, portrayed by their vivid colouring and expressions.  These Divas depict the essence of graceful movement combined with haughty glamour.  Reminiscent of strutting catwalk models, they are an eccentric range of posing, pouting and sometimes singing figures.
